Haven't seen the highlights yet but, wow, not one of those things you expect to see, and I have to say however much I dislike United, it's a shame City were the ones to do this too them. I'm all for United losing their dominance but when it's to a team who, like chelsea, rely on just spending lots, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Cardiff bidding to be this season's token Championship semi-finalist in the League Cup: win the home leg, get battered in the away leg and pocket the money. Hurray!

One more reason why I love this game.

Can I just say: Fuck, yes!

Juve beats Inter in a pretty damn good match. Even the end of the world couldn't ruin my weekend now.

^ I watched that whilst being pretty damn drunk. I loved it.

Yep - we've all known about his gambling problems for years though. Most City fans have seen him blowing thousands of pounds in a Ladbrokes or a casino at least once!

Odd that you replaced him with earnie. Wasn't he into the casinos while he was with us, or was it the booze? Really can't remember now!

Pompey brushed aside yesterday. 3-1 but could easily have been double that. Cardiff next, no idea which way that one will go.

Turning out to be a great season for the PL, another classic yesterday with Arsenal tonking Chelsea!

I think Earnie has an even longer chargesheet. And that's to say nothing of Darcy Blake's well-known love for the booze.

Wednesday night? Probably 1-1. It's how most of our away games have ended, no reason to stop yet. What I'd give for another striker with some actual skill. Hopefully, Miller's back and up for it. He never got the chance to build on his superb performance in dismantling Southampton.

I will never, ever tire of seeing John Terry fall over whilst making a catastrophic balls-up.

Yeah its the little things in life you treasure...

I'm not sure what the issue was with Earnie at Derby, but given neither Billy or Jewell played him much it wasn't just that he had a personality clash with one guy, and Toshack wasn't picking him for Wales either if I recall (which in fairness might have been cos he wasn't playing regularly!)

Well he's warming our bench now as well, so maybe!

Just keep him and Miller on the bench tonight thank you, I don't want either of them coming back to haunt us!

Be afraid by the way, we might have a 15 year old playing up front!

No, though defensively we're really down to the bare bones now. I guess the plan is just to get through one more game then hopefully have several players back for after the international break.

I'm annoyed as hell with the BBC though, I had the team list up on my phone and when they put a ball next to Kilbane's name I initially thought we'd equalised!

Ah well, we didn't do as bad as Leeds at least...

I didn't realise just how bare bones Derby were until we actually kicked off. It sounds very much like our situation just before the last international break, so I have every sympathy for you this time. Is this Mason Bennett actually really good, then, or is he just in because he's all you have? At one point, it sounded like the rest of the team didn't want to pass to him, like they didn't trust him.

Very pleased with we played though. The commentators don't normally talk us up so much so we sounded excellent last night, especially Kiss. They were very quick to acknowledge Derby's problems too, which was nice. Can't believe we're 5th in November, and could be 3rd if we win Boro fail to win on Saturday. I love this league!

Leeds losing 5-0 at home brings a smile to the footballing world.

He's supposed to be very good. I haven't seen him play, but for a 15 year old he has the physique of someone older. I'm still not sure he should be starting up front but are options are fairly limited at the moment (although you could argue both Cykwa and Ball should start ahead of him.)

As someone said, we had a lefback/midfielder playing centre back so that our 4th choice centre back could play right back, then he went off injured after 31 minutes and our 6th choice CB took over at right back!

Does anyone have any joy at Peterborough?! Derby the latest victims at their jammy goalfest stadium! Someone please beat them and send them into a downward spiral back to League One!

I hate games like that, losing I can accept, but 93 minute...pah!
