They LOVE cardboard boxes, that's the reason I was worried. I wanted something a little bit more stylish for a change, but you know how it is with cats: they rule.

And a shop cat we had once was 25 lbs in his prime, but not anywhere near that big, just firmly packed. We weighed him on our package scale regularly.

We had one cat down to the vet, and they weighed her in at just over seven pounds. I mentioned that our male cat was three times as heavy. The vet freaked and demanded we get him in for a check-up and a diet. We brought him in, and they were like, "Oh. Okay." He was 22 pounds, and they said they'd like to see him at 18-20 pounds, as big/long as he was.

Now that's just being lazy even for a cat.

Maine Coons are supposedly a cross between Norwegian Forest Cats (snow cats) and American short-haired cats. I believe they are roughly the same size.

This is my attempt at trying to measure Junior with a little 6 inch ruler. Not terribly informative but at least you can see how big his head and feet are.

...and this is Junior taking the ruler away from me.

I think it's tape-measure time, or at least a yardstick.

The caption of the latter should read. "You just don't measure up to me."

Confused about the red reverse- marsupial picture ;)

I FINALLY GET TO POST IN HERE!

This beautiful boy came home from the shelter on the first. I've named him Glasgow, he is two, and he is a lover!

Looking lovely in his new yellow collar (he still has the NYC Animal Care and Control tag, his personalized tag is coming in the mail):

    He likes laps,

    and the tub,

he is a bit timid and is scared of the window (and almost everything else), but curious about it:

    He loves cuddles:
