Ok, to be honest that's the only bit of Mosaics I know. I think that and Pathways are the only books I haven't read . . .

The Cardassians were going to fry KJ's nerve endings just like Admiral Paris, but she got rescued before they got around to it. She also flips out and tries to take down a sentry and his attack dog with a tree branch.

They're obviously a little out of sync with later show canon, but I enjoyed both Mosaic and Pathways. Worth a read.

 

One: that song is EPIC! I don't even remember how I heard about it, but it's hilarious.

Two: I need to read Pathways and Mosaic now . . . Kindle books.

I think Mulgrew reads Mosaic, and Picardo reads Pathways. I have the audio Mosaic and IT IS AWESOME. I especially love how she does the Cardassian voices.

The only problem with the audio Mosaic and Pathways is that they're abridged, so some scenes are missing.

Also, I am eating pot roast.

 

I gotta tell y'all this, and y'all can take away my ceremonial Kool Aid pitcher if you want, but I . . . strongly dislike Mosaic. A lot. It's just toooooooooo MarySueish for me. I managed to listen to about half of it and that was only because KM was reading it.

Pot roast for realz? Is it repli-burned? No matter! It's still better than a McDonald's Square Fish Sammich!

The audio version is abridged. So I didn't listen to it past where the Kindle preview allowed me to.

And whoever had it uploaded on YouTube, their profile is deleted now. And Picardo does narrate Pathways, I was listening to the minute they give you on iTunes.

So, me being the cheap person I am, am going to get it off of Amazon. But I will read it. I'll probably get Pathways and Full Circle since I just read that on day while sitting in Barnes & Nobles for five hours back when I was pregnant. What can I say, I'm cheap.

EDIT: And all the hate on the white tux gives me a plot bunny idea. But I'll have to throw it back with all of my other ideas. But this one might be the easiest of all of the plot bunnies I have.

 

You could see if any of the books are around at the library? Or a used books store like Half-Price Books? Maybe you can get em on the cheap. And a plot bunny about the ol' White Tux, eh?! Dragons in classy white tuxes?
