The gods of the universe should KNOW you can't stop the signal! FIREFLY! Baring that, I could live with a Voyager OR a Xena tele-movie or two.
Yes, yes, I know there are people who think the show wasn't just awful. Fortunately there aren't many.
Firefly, but ONLY because you said I can't (NEVER tell me I can't do something, that's the fastest way to get me to do it...). Actually, I'd bring back Sliders, throw out seasons 2 through 5, and do it right this time. I'd keep season one, that was perfect, except for that one episode about egghead world.
I wouldn' throw away all of season 2 and 3. If we look hard enough there are probably another ten episodes worth keeping before the Professor's death.
STAR TREK MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE TWILIGHT ZONE I would reboot all three series. I would be executive producer on all, so they would be done MY way. J.J. Abrams and Tom Cruise would be shot on sight if they tried to enter the studio. I. HATE. THIS. FRAKKING. LINE. Entire industries have been built around technology designed to stop signals, but Browncoats have turned this BS into a rallying cry...
I'm thinking mostly shows that had one, maybe two seasons and didn't have a chance for a conclusion... Space AaA Crusade (like B5, uneven but promising start, but great things seemed to lurk) Dark Shadows (the one with Ben Cross as B. Collins) The Lone Gunmen
I don't know, maybe a bit early for another go at Star Trek? I guess a remake of Space: Above and Beyond could be interesting, but it's been so long and I guess if they made a new one people would just call it a BSG rip-off. I liked Kings and Jericho and wanted to see more of those shows, but there's a reason they were cancelled, and I don't see how that would change now if the god of sci-fi tv reanimated them.
Oh, forgot about Jericho, definitely that. I haven't seen Kings, but the concept sounds fancinating, and Ian McShane is an acting god.
Aside from Firefly? Star Trek (reboot or preboot). I would say The Incredible Hulk, but the kind of project that I would be interested in is less a remake of the live-action show and more a new and more faithful live-action adaptation, which is seemingly what will air in 2012.
First thing that came to mind upon seeing the thread. Would have loved a season two of Charlie Jade. Non-genre wise: Deadwood and Rome (with the latter having presumably a less truncuated feeling second season or something). Likewise. I expected to see a lot of TOS and ENT references in this thread, surprised that this is the only Trek nod - but I guess reviving Star Trek is as stale an idea as reviving Firefly. I also think Crusade was bad, but I probably would have watched it until the second season to see if it was gonna pull its stuff together. It was the most promising of all JMS's Babylon 5 spinoff projects, but that's admittedly a terribly low bar. I'd say the same about Caprica, although it was quite a bit better than Crusade.
