those lines and your interpretation, You're not making it up, are you? Disturbing!!! PS. what is "Tieran-Kes"?!
I don't like the way Tuvix talked to the captain. He was very forward. Presumptuous, even. He deserved to die.
In the episode Warlord, the conciousness (call him a space ghost why not?) of an old despot named Tieran had been jumping consciousnesses for hundreds of years staying one step ahead of his enemies, until his mind transferred into the driving seat of young Kes' firm little body, and he had the mental powers of an angry god, which is exactly how he used them. Warlord is almost the Kes episode.
What if Tuvok and Tuvix BOTH went into pon farr at the same time and they declared kal-if-fee on each other? Remember when Shran and Archer had that fight to the death and Archer won through trickery even though it was fighting with an Andorian weapon and he's a terrible fighter and should have died instantly? Boy I sure love those manufactured fight to the death of friends scenarios. Can't have enough of 'em! MORE MORE!!
Before and After is mine. Jennifer may look fascinating in that bubble gum tight leather lovesock, but it's not Kes up stairs in Warlord, so it's not a Kes episode, it's the #### who hijacked her body's episode.
Nothing is gone or lost if you separate him either. As far as Tuvix wanting to live is concerned that could just be a small part of Neelix wanting to continue as Tuvix but not necessarily both of them (no way to know) so his "opinion" can't be totally accepted as proof of sentience Did someone say sentience. I feel a poll coming on Dude, it's alright, she can't hurt you anymore Just before transport took place, she should have turned her back on him and said...."this is for Tuvok, you whore!"....then punched him in the face Then laughed Then said....."separate that fucking freak!"
That was awesome. Yeah, I always thought Tuvok secretly wanted Kes. It is a little interesting how Tuvik admitted that he loved both Kes and Tuvok's wife too. I guess that makes him polyamorous. You could tell that didn't go down with Kes well, although she was generally appalled by the whole thing. Before and After is my favorite Kes episode, but I pretty much like every Kes episode - except the abomination that is Fury. Even Elogum.
When she left is as important that she left. Imagine if Kes had stayed for another three episodes, what would the consequences of that have been? (Day of Honor, Nemesis and Revulsion.)
Kes tried desperately to be polite to Tuvix, but wanted Neelix back. As to Neelix, some might say "Good Riddance". But would Tuvix be the better alternative to Neelix? At least I liked the interaction between Tuvok "Mr. Vulcan" and Neelix, so in the end I was glad to have them both back as was the rest of the Voyager crew.
What I find puzzling is that Kes' said several times that jealousy was incomprehensible to Ocampas because they mate for life (which given how long that is, is not much of a constraint) and what does she do only a few episodes later, she dumps Neelix!
You don´t want to know about Mirror Universe Kes. If you do, David Mack´s Rise Like Lion is the hell of a read . As to Neelix, he later found Dexa.
