Thanks. I was feeling overwhelmed by the sheer awesomeness of the Menorahprise. :p

And because Can(n)on is obviously a primary concern with the new movie...

I'm now hearing simultaneously "Low Rider" and the finale of the 1812 Overture.

And they're both being played by a Klezmer band.

Trek XI forum given the shaft!

I've been checking Trekmovie.com lately in anticipation of the appearance of our fine, official, and noble Trek XI forum image in the Great Links entry, as promised:

And today! What should appear but said next great links article!

And upon examination, it has become clear that we have been shut out. Given the shaft. Deep sixed. Ignored. Robbed. Lied to! For there is no entry extolling our greatness. Just Darth Mojo, with his professionally produced renders, and hot women in Trek uniforms. Feh. Feh, I say!

Are we just going to sit here and take this? I say not! Let us rise up and make it clear the the Sombreroprise will not be forgotten. We shall hunt down the people responsible and make them pay!

Somehow, somehow...I know this is J.J. Abrams' fault.

^ From your lips to God's ear. I've seen this, too. I say we have been cheated.

We should spam their comments section!

I don't know. When you come down to it, warp drive is just your basic FTL propulsion. In plot terms there's no big difference between warp and, say, hyperdrive in Star Wars, just a new effect. Either way the effect will be new, and I guess it'll be interesting the extent to which it does or does not resemble past efforts. But I'd doubt there would be any earth shattering differences, personally...

I can't believe they chose EmoTrek over the precious Sombreroprise!

Rick Sternbach gave us his blessing.

That's worth far more than being added (or not being added) to some random collection of links.

Thanks for asking him, Sam (assuming that was you).
Thanks for featuring us, Anthony. :)

Now how do we further beautify the Sombreroprise?

I think it's fine like it is, and you shouldn't modify it and possibly overdo it, only to be featured with a mini-link on an overrated website. YMMV
