Today on the farmers market I bought some good bacon and loads of carrots, onions, garlic, root-parsley, celeriac, leeks, parsnips.... Going to make some good hearty winter-soup now that the winds have brought some Siberian temperatures to our parts (that's what the weather-frogs on TV say but in reality we only have an ordinary range of temperature for this place and time of year. What is it with people that appear on TV; why do they all exaggerate everything SO much?)
These 4 old Toro Whirlwind mowers: Plus this NOS 1964 'Golden Whirlwind' engine....almost 50 years old and has never been used: Plus the two parts that were needed to fix it (I only needed one crank starter, but there were two in the sale): All to add to the growing collection that is starting to fill up my garage. I started mowing with one of these type of old Toros in 1975 when I was 8 years old and now I am having fun collecting and restoring them:
Picked Moon, 2001 and Batman Begins blu-rays. Last week, finally got myself a blu-ray player. Plus some food also.
Used my gift certificate I got for my bday to buy a cover with light for my Sony e-reader. Expensive, but love it!
