was this very weak-sounding

 

noise. Hardly noticeable, you had

 

to pay attention very closely

 

and get within centimeters of

 

it to even notice the

 

branch was scraping the skin

 

down to the level of

 

breaking blood vessels.

"Jeez, Scotty,"

 

McCoy blurted. ”You're determined to

 

have me do repairs, aren't

 

those the most adorable little

 

arteries."
