In the ending credits of TVH there lists a character called Usher. I'm assuming this is just the person's job, but where was there an usher in the movie?

    Thanks.

I'm still looking for the 23rd century meter maid in Into Darkness.

The person named in the credits, Teresa E Victor, was a known friend of the Roddenberrys, and was Nimoy's fan club organiser in the 70s and assistant in the 80s. Pic of her scene with Gillian:

I've never looked, do the STIV credits include "man with hose"?

Non speaking extras don't usually get credits unless it's a cameo by a friend of the production, or if their lines get dropped in editing but their contract still guarantees a credit.

^ No, it's the guy very conspicuously washing the sidewalks when Gillian enters the Cetacean Institute to find out that the whales are gone and then leaves in a huff to find Kirk.

What's the fun in making movies if you can't toss a few cameos your friends' way?

I still want to see the footage of Chapel ushering Sarek into the hall.

There was that picture in Starlog before the film came out of the two of them standing there and I always wanted to see if it was actually part of a clip that was excised.

The Hose of Usher, by Poe. I think I read that in American Lit.
