I only got the opening title page and then a page with two panels, ending with the computer stating the importance of the requested search. Didn't build to cliffhanger or story break, or am I missing something? Nonetheless, I always enjoy yours and Chuck's work and am looking forward to more.

Great! Thank you all! Nice to hear! What you see is correct. I'm releasing this like a weekly comic strip, a few frames at a time. Then when it's complete I will compile the frames into pages as a comic book. Please hang with us! BTW, we've created a Facebook page for the animated serics comics here https://www.facebook.com/startrekanimated, please stop by and like us! Thanks again!

HA! I asked the same thing... and I co-wrote it!

Kail's experimenting with the art a bit on this one to see what works best. Such is the freedom that the internet brings! We were recently looking at a cool webcomic that puts out one panel per day!

If anyone has opinions, we'd love to get constructive feedback!

And, yeah, please drop by our Facebook page for story updates, behinds the scenes stuff, and general TAS discussion!

It looks like one of those beams is coming from the planet in the background. :)

That's not a planet. The sphere is part of the wing of the ship. It's shown at a better angle in week 2.

The spheres are also visible on the attacking ship in the background and on the smaller ship that is under attack.

I really dig the ships Raul designed for this issue. He's outdone himself this time.

Yeah, they are pretty unique. They look very different, but yet look similar enough to be from the same planet.
