^Good to see she's grasped irony so early on. Most people don't really get a hold on it till at least 13! I had brunch with a couple of old university friends today...ten years on and we still pretty much look like we did in school: And I got some fresh ink (more pics in the Tattoos thread):
^So cute...in a dark side kind of way, of course. Forgive my crappy, pocket camera picture but obviously I have ZERO picture-taking skills. Here are some shots from our weekend train excursion in northeast Texas. This was our car, number 44. As you can see, it was PACKED with people that Sunday. There was just one other person, this guy, who sat across from us. Apparently, no one else wanted to pay for the adult-only (re: serves beer) air-conditioned car. Everyone else went in the open air car which is very cheap. But there were only about 20 passengers on the whole train. Definitely a good time to go! View from the last car: The engine On the way back, the engine turned around at the wye, and then came back and attached at the last car--which was empty for the whole run.
simply adorable On the contrary, Auntie! You definitely have a talent for finding the ideal angle and perspective to take a pic from.
Look at me? see the red string tied around my finger... I have to remember to do something but I don't remember what?
Legos and Micromachines! One of Phantom's favorite places to sit. Took me far too long to realize it was already labeled CAT!
So this is a good thing, I bet that is why the Dali Llama wheres a red string bracelet as well? I am going to go back to wearing that red string ring ,... Thanks - I had no idea.
Star Wars LEGOs and MicroMachines? That's pretty sweet. I also spotted the little TOS Galileo shuttlecraft in the mix.
^ Oh yeah, I probably have an equal mix of Star Trek and Star Wars Micromachines, enough to fill a small box.
