Did some Christmas shopping over the weekend: Got the Wii Fit Plus for my sister and brother-in-law as well as some moisturizer for myself. Still have a ways to go...
Went a little crazy on Amazon the last few days... Harry Potter Years 1-6 Blu-Ray Boxset The Alien Anthology Blu-Ray Boxset Farscape: The Complete Series Firefly on Blu-Ray Where the Wild Things Are on Blu-Ray
Bought a couple of gadgets I needed anyway: battery screwdriver/drill. I guess I bought the old one a tiny bit too cheap. Although getting eight years of use out of it was pretty cool when you add that the new one was equally cheap... One of those gadgets that measure the electricity used by any gadget you plug into it (I'm thinking that I have a couple of stand-by traps I need to look into). A pocket size multimeter -the one I have I built myself ages ago and it isn't pocket size. And, since they were marked considerably down, I also got a couple of halloween decorations Impressive, but you'll need Zoolook too in order to have a JMJ basics set (imho of course) -it's the one where he introduces vocals.
Finally! Season 1 nuBSG arrived today! Amazon dropped the price to $18 so we snagged it. Only need the final season to own the entire series
I have just ordered a book "Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Things: 2317 Ways to Save Money and Time". Hopefully I can use enough of the ideas to pay back for the cost of the book.
A remote control truck for a friend's son and a bunch of stuff from Bath and Body Works for the sister who hates everything. I figured I couldn't go to wrong with soap.
After a quick shower I'm off to the town x-mas market (a seasonal extension of the farmers market) The vet is serving mulled wine and has a few good bargains, so I'm likely to come home with a couple of bags of cat food and some cat-goodies.
On my way home (laden with cat goodies) I also picked up a pound of those fan-tas-tic Mexican coffee-beans
^ Give the guy a chance to play with it before asking him for a review won't ya' I looked it up; sounds like a very cool device
^Well, if he's anything like my husband, he'll rip it open the moment he's bought it and will have played with the thing for hours before telling everyone in a 20 mile radius about the new toy he's bought. He'll also have already found whatever "flaws" it may or may not have and will have posted several reviews to the internet with his "expert" knowledge of said device.
^Hmmm, I suppose you could be right But then, he could be on his way home with it while posting on this site to let us now -I've been guilty of that.
Avatar (Extended Collector's Edition) [Blu-ray] In anticipation of my shiny new PS3. Can't wait for Christmas
