This is a game that was played here a couple of years ago, and it proved to be a lot of fun, spanning across each Trek series, as well as a great way to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win.
    Pretty simple. Enjoy! :bolian:

I'm removing Endgame. It's another Borg episode, it has time travel, and is derivative of the far superior Timeless. Just a waste, really,

It amuses me greatly the so called dramatic episodes of the seasons, Unitmatrix and Endgame were removed immediately.. yet I'd have done the same. The game goes on so...... Q2. I liked the Q so much better before Voyager ruined them.

Exactly. They were both very underwhelming. Right, I'll vote for Inside Man, which is easily the worst episode in the Pathfinder arc. The use of Troi here was pointless, and the added Ferengi hijinks do it no favours.

Actually.... I always liked the Troi/Barclay episodes. Maybe I'm in the minority there. ;)

"Friendship One", there was no reason to kill poor Carey just a couple of episodes before Janeway comes from the future to save her crew.

No no no...I think you meant to eliminate Human Error, not Imperfection! Imperfection is where Icheb sacrifices his implant to save Seven of Nine...one of the best ones in that season IMO. Human Error is where she makes Holo-Chakotay.

Before I do my vote, do you want to edit your post???

"Flesh and Blood, Part I", who would have guessed one of Janeway's earlier decisions to violate the PD and sahre Federation tech would have come back to bite them.

^^I think KaraBear did not eliminate the episode she intended to because she mentioned holo-Chakotay in the wrong episode. Can we halt or something until she confirms or edits? Or do we just go on anyway?

OK, if Imperfection were still on the list, I would eliminate it: as much as I might sympathize with this form of "aging," Janeway going to the local Borg-Mart for parts was stupid.

Otherwise, I would take out Human error, for the reasons previously stated.

Okay! I hope you didn't feel forced to take it out.

I will remove "Renaissance Man" because I didn't like seeing the Doctor being deceitful, even if it was for a "good cause" and he thought he was doing the right thing. I just didn't like the general feel of the first huge chunk of that episode.

Not at all. The episode had a good premise, some nice scenes, and several contrivances that bugged the hell out of me. I hated the "we're don't often go looking for the Borg" banter and the fact that the implant, apparently irreplaceable, looked as easy to install as a usb drive. OTOH, I found the goodbyes in the teaser and the scenes with Icheb to be genuine. In the end, I have issues with Imperfection, and I didn't see it lasting long on the list.
