Awesome! Congrats--I'm jealous--you met Professor Proton!! I'm so glad Bob Newhart got a recurring guest spot on that show. Anyway, what fun. Epic--sitting in Sheldon's spot.
So I did some experimenting the past couple of days (in terms of where I was to take photos) ... a few of the results:
Thanks for the kind words, everyone! TheSeeker, truth be told, I really don't get out nearly as often as I would like to take photos (maybe once or twice a month at this rate). But this weekend I went upstate to see family. And since I was a passenger in the car, I figured I'd see what I could capture out the window as we headed up the Thruway at 70mph - which offers some interesting views. The snow certainly helped give everything a bit of personality. But I wish I'd set my shutter speed even faster than the 1/2000th of a second I ended up using (it's tough to tell, in camera, just how sharp the images are). I wound up with some decent shots, but I'd have had even more had I jacked the shutter speed up even further. Still, it was an interesting experiment that I'll try again sometime.
^after seeing too many potential picture shoots going 70 on a sharp curve without a breakdown lane, I really want a camera on the car roof
It's been a while since I've posted some photos here... Lunch in Santa Barbara this weekend... Winter in Los Angeles. Everywhere else, it's called "jogging, uphill." In Los Angeles, we call it "hiking." Abusing my sampling priveleges. My other car is a Prius. Hangin' out with my dog at Christmas. Hey fizellas! Hangin' out at Disneyland with my friends.
I'll be very, very disappointed if doubleoh doesn't get his own sitcom at some point. Hollywood, you're looking a gift geek in the mouth.
Just took those this morning First sign of spring A family of Cedar Waxwings I don't recognize this one.
