For such a meta show, getting six seasons would be a perfect capstone, so I'm in favour of them giving it a shot.
I hope this pans out. It'd be great for the show to hit the six seasons, maybe ending with an extended episode that could count as a movie...
I looked up Yahoo Screen, it appears to be a free service? If so how are they going to make any money on this season?
Is it advertising supported? Also, getting a show with a cult following like Community will help people to know that Yahoo Screen exists.
Looks like the meteor strike is no longer canon Edited to add: Looks like the show will have around the same budget as it did on NBC: Source: AV Club.
I'm incredibly surprised to be hearing about this months after the fact! And what the hell is Yahoo Screen?
I was really hoping for a 6th season, but I had a dream the other night that Community returned and it was awful. When I went online the following day and read the news that Hulu had passed on it, that dream caused me to feel at peace with that decision. Now it has officially been renewed? By Yahoo? And all the characters didn't die in a meteor strike?
Am I the only one with the "ehhh" attitude? I will take my 5 seasons and be happy, more so because I loved the addictions of the teachers this year and sadly I have a feeling they will not be back next year.
