Last night I came home late and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was tandori chicken with rice and green beans. Left over pie from Sunday night but I opted out seeing as how I was full.

I'm not sure what to cook tonight. It needs to be inexpensive, but without a lot of carbs or sugar.

French onion soup is a specialty of mine, it's just not soup weather here right now.

Last night was veggie burritos, with enough Dave's Ultimate Insanity to burn a hole in my tummy.

I baked some honey-glazed salmon with fresh basil then had that with asparagus followed by homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

My mother, sister, and I baked a loaf of homemade bread, complete with a half hour of kneading and 3 rounds of rising and punching! I made my homemade hummus (the best hummus in the world, by the way). Then we picked sun-warmed tomatoes off mom's tomato plant and sliced them on top of our hummus-smeared still-warm bread. It was heavenly.

Made a pasta sauce with bacon and mushrooms on rice. It was great. Had a blueberry milkshake for desert.

That sounds wonderful, and I bet the work involved made just the right seasoning. ;)

Piccadilly leftovers, so half a chopped steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, mac & cheese, half a roll. Added a banana and a few butter cookies.

I had an overly large bacon/brie baguette for a late lunch and doubt I'm going to be hungry enough for dinner.

Instead, I'm having a rather nice Mosel Riesling... the best kind of calories...
