What would have happened to Voyager if there didn't just happen to be exactly one decent person in every group of bad guys?

    Same question applies to Enterprise.

    Utterly destroyed.

I'm at a loss to think of one, decent Kazon however.

Make their own decent person, just like they did in Scorpion.

If it weren't for Denara Pel, the Vidiians would probably have harvested Voyager completely. Ironically wouldn't have mattered, since the Think Tank cured Phage 3 years later anyway.

Yeah he's the only one though, and didn't have any influence with the sects.

It was nice seeing Aron do something else, but he still seemed like Nog with hair.

They are usually dweebish, well meaning, often shorter than the bad guys. They take Our Heroes aside and confess to their doubts over whatever the hegemony is compelling their people to do. Suddenly BAM they have switched sides and with their tremulous assistance Our Heroes triumph. Often they die directly after that, but not always.

I've watched enough episodes of T.J. Hooker to know that in every single gang of evil, ruthless, irredeemable bastards, there's always one guy whose just fallen in with the wrong crowd and is happy to turncoat if it'll get him back on the path to redemption. Always. And in real-life too, probably. Just gotta find that dude.

Would Bill Shatner lie to me?

    Suder wasn't allowed redemption.

Suder "I invented flowers! I can double the ships food supply! I want to be of value to you Captain Janeway!"

Kathy "Shut up and rot your filthy Maquis Son of a bitch."

Suder was way too creepy to have around doing useful things.
