Took some better pics recently of my 32" long Round 2 TOS Enterprise model. These were taken in my garage against my starfield backdrop. It was quite the setup using three light sources, a tripod for longer exposures, and the A-DEP setting on my Cannon DSLR for increased depth of field. I really like how the bussard lights look in these photos... Did you tint the images in post or did you employ lighting with ever so slightly tan hues? Whatever the technique, it really makes the shots appear like something photographed in the 1960s. Without knowing the background, one would have to study these images VERY carefully to realize they are not shots of the 11 foot filming miniature. Astoundingly convincing! Sincerely, Bill
5909 is my fave... The lighting here works best with the backdrop (can't see the crease and the stars are more evenly lit). And the ship is really well in focus!
