Robot and Frank, starring Frank Langella, Peter Sarsgaard, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, Susan Sarandon, Jeremy Sisto, Ana Gasteyer and Jeremy Strong. It is a caper comedy about Alzheimer's, in an SF mode. It is filmed with a budget derived from the spare change found in the producers' couches, but well worth your time all the same.
Good movie but a bit of a Spoiler: vague spoiler downer . The metaphor of the robot didn't hit me until a while afterward. He may have slowed a step but I think Frank Langella has only gotten better with time. Susan Sarandon as well.
Yeah, I loved the movie, but I really wish they'd spent more than $1.75 on the robot costume. The thing had the same level of articulation as a Kenner Star Wars figure!
