Charles Cooper who played Gen Korrd in ST 5 passed away at age 87 on Nov 29, 2013.

His death wasn't reported by any of the Trek related websites and so I just found out.

He also of course played K'mpec in two episodes of TNG.

Long career from 1950 to 2007. Great voice.

Thanks for your contribution to Trek and Rest In Peace.

While TFF is a low point in Trek, his performance, particularly his berating of the Klingon 'young punk' Captain Klaa was solid gold, one of my favorite moments in all Trek.

You didn't even need subtitles for that scene!
