I tried to grow a mustache a few months ago. It looked like crap. I hate shaving ... but ain't grow a beard.
Just buy a trimmer. Buzz that over your beard once or twice a week and you're done. I've got a Phillips one that even vacuums up the hair as it goes.
^Hey, good day? I'm in a bit of a funk. I spent the day listening to Sigur Ros and taking long walks without my glasses on. Has anyone else noticed how music of the Shoegazing genre sounds like the world looks without your glasses?
Interesting you should mention it, tsq. I have become rather hooked on shoegaze/darkwave/ethereal/dreampop/whatever the frak you call it. Have you ever heard of these bands? They are some of my favorites: Tearwave Autumn's Grey Solace Love Spirals Downwards Black Tape for a Blue Girl and, of course: Cocteau Twins.
Eh, today wasnt spectacular...but thats because my bad weekend overflowed to today. Boo And as for the glasses thing, i wouldnt know as i dont need glasses
I love taking my glasses off sometimes when I head out. Currently just waiting for the Cup ... around 70 minutes until it's run again. Go Mad Rush!!!
^There's a kind of disconnect and beauty in the blur, isn't there? I know the bands, but I'm more partial to the likes of Slowdive, Sigur Ros, and Asobi Seksu. But speaking of Cocteau Twins, I've recently bought the soundtrack to Mysterious Skin (a damn fine movie, based on a damn fine book; both movie and book have affected me more than any other), which is a collaberation between Robin Guthrie and Harold Budd. It's a gorgeous soundtrack (the also used some Slowdive and Sigur Ros in the film, but they're not included on the ST), I'd recommend it.
Also try The Moon and the Melodies, which is Budd with all three Twins (actually Liz Fraser only sings on about half the tracks I think).
