Dang. I had my doubts reading the (revised) first edition, but I'm really having wondering about this stuff now.
Well my copy isn't here today, so the earliest it'll be here now is Monday as Canada Post (and every other courier service) is closed for the next four days (with Christmas Day, Boxing Day & then Saturday and Sunday being non-business days).
My copies came yesterday, neither was signed, even though I ordered both on July 19th. So a bit disappointed there. The book is great, at least as of page 25 (of 665).
I thought about buying this book, but I kind of resented the whole limited printing as a way to get people to worry and rush out and buy it. I bet if there is demand they will print more. How do you guys like it?
I just checked the site and they are taking orders for another printing. I think I might have to get one :-)
Got my copy on 12/22. Read the first few chapters on the plane home. Such a pleasure and delight to read a properly researched and written book. Bravo to Preston and the Creature Features team, and most of all, thank you.
Oh bump it to the top. You know you want to. As for me, I haven't even ordered it yet, and now, thanks to Christmas, I have to wait for my next paycheck before I can. I hope it doesn't sell out in the next two weeks.
Unfortunately, it appears the first printing is sold out, but Creature Features is promising a second printing in a couple months.
Hmm. I ordered before they put up that notice. I'm going to have to reach out to them, and see if I'm going to have to wait; if so, I want a refund.
Received my copy last night. It was waiting on me when I made it home from work. Very beautiful book. I cut part of the shipping box and used that for a backboard in the plastic bag they shipped it in. Im not sure when I have time to read it though. Work work. But well worth the wait. The book is very well made. Read the first 15 r so pages. Highly recommended and approved by the deep south (previously the north).
