In the lap of squalor I assure you.
I was looking at the pattern on his chest.

    Bosoms and a two-pack.

Oh? Is that why Tupac was called Tupac?

Are the four lines on his chest the "4" logo?

The interview over at Collider (well it's not actually an interview as much as it is paid PR pretending to be an interview) confirms that beyond the character names and powers it's not going to have anything to do with the comics. They even rather hilariously try and argue that the "Fantastic" in "Fantastic Four" doesn't actually mean what the people making the comics for the past 50+ years have taken it to mean in terms of the style of stories that get told.

All those people saying it sounded like they were making Chronicle 2, congratulations you were right!

Man, I really hope that the "grill" areas on that costume are to allow flame to get out.

Are those four lines supposed to be their logo? Like, a "cool" 4? Roman numerals are cool, yeah? Again, I hope so. :)

The Roman number 4 is IV. It's more like a bar code. :rommie:

The Romans used both IV and IIII for 4.

The most annoying thing about this whole thing is that regardless of whether it's a success or a flop there's no chance of us getting a faithful Fantastic Four film for a long, long time, if ever.

Just think of some of Kirby's artistic visions splashed up on an Imax screen, then about the "grounded" "realistic" film these people think we want. It's pretty depressing.

I thought it was very smart of Marvel to set Guardians Of The Galaxy in inner-city Detroit for that very reason. And turning Thanos into a drug-dealing slumlord was a strike of genius.

It's impressive what a complete and utter lack of understanding of the source material they manage to pack into under two minutes.

I actually kind of like the trailer. It doesn't appear to have a lot of resemblance to the comics, but taken on its own, it looks pretty cool! I dig the emphasis on the science stuff.

The director has revealed in a new interview that composer Philip Glass is co-scoring the film (with previously announced Marco Beltrami).

Though the music in the trailer is the theme from 'Broadchurch'...
