How many Star Trek games have been good? It seems like star Wars had a better track record then Star Trek in video games.

There have been about five good Star Trek games.

There are some good Star Trek games. Unfortunately they're all between 10 and 20 years old, and some of them at the far end of that spectrum won't work natively on modern computers without a lot of messing around in DosBox. If something like ScummVM had support for 'Judgement Rites' and 'A Final Unity', I would be in Trek gaming heaven.

Birth of the Federation, Armada I and Star Trek Online I've enjoyed a lot.

Dominion Wars might have been good if it wasn't so buggy/crash-prone.

I really liked Elite Force. That one had a lot of replay value.

I still replay Elite Force from time to time. :) Never played the sequel though, is it worth picking up?

It's more of the same, really, but with a longer story and better graphics.

But the walking bit has the camera going from side to side. Makes me feel nauseous. [/filburt]

The original Elite Force was fantastic.

Other than that? Some have been alright. None have been "good" IMHO.

I'd kill for them to make an Elite Force III and do it properly. EF2 suffered from it being the game released the day before Activision dropped the license and sued Paramount/Viacom for damaging the Trek brand. :S

Several. 25th Anniversary, Judgment Rites, A Final Unity and Elite Force are terrific. Birth of the Federation, Klingon Academy, Starfleet Command, Generations and The Fallen are all good. The rest range from tolerable to awful.

A Final Unity and Elite Force were the only ones I liked.

Star Wars has much better games.

Klingon Academy,Starfleet Academy, Elite Force 1 + 2, SFC Series (3 games, 1 expansion), Tactical Assault for PSP, Conquest is a good time waster for PS2

Ones I played that kind of sucked: STO (not an MMO fan), New Worlds, Legacy, Bridge Commander (it was prettier than KA, but not as fun).

I need to try getting into the Armada games, I tired playing them a few times, but I lost interest shortly after trying.

Klingon Academy is the best by far, hands down

Klingon Academy was a lot of fun, really enjoyed 25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites as well. Elite Forces was another great one, I enjoyed SFC I, II, and III, but those games weren't everyones cup of tea. Bridge Commander was fun too. The mods for Klingon Academy and Bridge Commander really pro-longed those games for me.

Really enjoyed Strategic Operations Simulator, and Rebel Universe...but that's probably more a nostalgia thing than anything else. Promethean Prophecy was really good, but not many people can tolerate text based games, but it genuinely felt like I was apart of TOS in a way no other game has.

I so wish there was a stand alone RPG like Star Trek online, because the graphics look pretty nice, but I just don't do MMORPGs.

A Final Unity was pretty fun and it really did feel like a TNG episode more than a game, but I never really played other Star Trek games because the reviews really scared me off. I wish more games were made like A Final Unity, only with better graphics.
