According to my "Costco Connection" magazine, yes, they will. Didn't say what the price would be, though.

And I'm getting both the 2-disc DVD and the Blu-Ray. Mr_Whatsit and I are talking about treating ourselves to a Blu-Ray player instead of exchanging Christmas gifts this year, so I want to be ready. But for now, we only have a regular DVD player.

I wouldn't expect a great price from Costco. They aren't caught up in the Amazon/Walmart/Target/Best Buy price war.

I'm probably going to get the 2 disk dvd. unless i decide last second just to get the single disk. I think it sucks that none of the goodies come with the regular dvd. Why should people that cant afford blue ray players and high def tvs suffer. Its just not cool.:angryrazz: Id like to have the insignia set or even the Enterprise model.

Yeah, that's kind of strange. Guess they rely more on sale of bulk foods and clothing and such.

Oh well, guess I'll shop around then. But who am I kidding? An old Trek nerd like me will likely purchase the super-duper bells and whistles Blu-Ray extravaganza.

I'd like to have all the features of a BMW, but for now I will be happy with my Monte Carlo, and that it is drivable.

I got a 26" 720p lcd- at 26" there's no BIG difference between what I bought & a 1080. A good dvd on my upconvert player looks great. The newest release of Voyage Home absolutely blew me away. My TV, HDMI cable & player came in at under $355.
    Near HD on a budget.;)

If I EVER should get a 32" or bigger, THEN I'd have to go BD, I conjure.

I was getting the Amazon exclusive with the Enterprise statue, but $100 was too pricey this month, so I'm getting the Target exclusive with the plastic Enterprise model instead.

It looks like Amazon may have sold out of all 5,000 copies of it now.

Are y'all sure that there will be a one-disc Blu-Ray of this film in the US? I am only aware of the 3-disc one.

EDIT: Yeah...I think that there's only the 3-disc BR, in the US anyway. I can't find any other version on any online site.

No matter, as I'll be buying that version anyway. :)

I have been enjoying my DVD (gift from a connected friend) for almost a month now.
WalMart has the 3-disc Blu-ray for $19.96 US (and free shipping from WalMart.com). It is a good bargain for those with Blu-ray. I have an upconvert DVD player which does fine for me (currently $29.00 for Magnavox upconvert to 1080p at WalMart).:techman:

Walmart it is, that's a great price for Blu-Ray. Hard to pass up at that price.

^ Better hope Wal-Mart doesn't censor the sumbitch. They've been known to do that, haven't they?
