Sorry to burst your bubble, but if its like any past Cryptic game the base will be in a secret location that is only accessible via transwarp.

Apparently the Jem' Hadar Boff is the reward for this week's episode which makes me wonder what the limited final reward is going to be.

I have not been able to play this mission at all today. Everytime I have tried, I keep getting disconnected from the server. This is ridiculous. I'm a gold member, and the darn thing won't let me play. Very frustrated with STO right now.

Kinda been annoyed at the way the rewards are working. All nice stuff, but for the old ones, you got the 'special' reward, and then could pick from the other stuff, with one in there being the obvious one.

For most of this FE, there's 2 things you have to get, and can only pick one, so have to run each of these twice. Last week, 2 pieces of the space set at the bottom, so obviously need them both, or neither. This week, the BOFF is the obvious one, but then need the 3rd piece of the ground set, so twice again.

Even that's not TOO bad, but when you have a couple of toons to run through this thing, and you can't even skip the cutscenes, it's a pretty annoying time drain.

On the plus side, liked this FE, and it didn't feel like a slapped-together mini-game like the last few. Actual story, real mission, etc.

Yeah, this FE was fun. It felt kind of "Blade Runner"/"Star Wars" ish to me. Loved it, loved the prison, loved the guard uniforms, loved the callbacks to old enemies, loved the whole idea of ISIS. Well done, IMO.

Okay, might as well start posting here seeing as me and STO are not breaking up anytime soon :D Just payed a bit a few days ago and got the Tactical Escort Refit, for that awesome Defiant with cloak action. Main mission right now is to make the toughest, quickest turning little ship I can manage.

Also just finished the second episode of the current series, and man, I love Bajor. I would not mind living there. Or at least having a vacation home there.

It was nice that Taris and "Khan" escaped. I look forward to giving them a beating at a later date.

Anyone have an Fed engineer that can train Eject Warp Plasma III and maybe Emergency Power to Shields III?

New question. I'm on the chapter called "Past Imperfect." I am at a part where I'm in the past, and I'm squaring off against a bunch of D7 battlecruisers. I keep getting killed. There is just me, and 4 or 5 Klingon ships. Anyone know how to beat this level? It's really pissing me off.
    Thanks in advance.

I did my first ground PVP today. Just 1 on 1, using my Fed main, against a Klingon who challenged me for some inexplicable reason. Now, he won, because I don't do ground PVP ever, but I figured it was worth a shot. We played the "Shanty Town" map, of which I was unfamiliar. I managed to succeed 9 times, he won 18 times, I think. It was a lot of fun, and he was very nice and respectful. We both complimented each other on the game, and he said it looked like I knew what I was doing, so apparently I did okay.

The interesting part, though, was my gear. I ran out of shields and hyposprays early on (I only had 4 a piece on me because I don't usually ground PVP!), so had to replicate the cheapies because I was in-game. Still, the tide started turning when I began using more effective strategy. What really boosted my effectiveness was switching from my Mk XI antiproton rifle to the Jem'Hadar Polaron Beam Pistol, and suddenly I was tearing the hell out of his armor! Previously, he could regenerate his armor and life rapidly, in a few seconds, and I never had time to really whittle it away with the antipolaron rifle, but holy cow, a few shots and his shields were gone. A few more and he was down to a handful of hitpoints! And the thing is, I figured the weapon was near useless and was going to toss it! Glad I didn't! Now I'll have to ground PvP more to get better at the game.

For me, "Fire At Will" and "Torpedo Spread" made all the difference in the world.

And here's another bonehead question. It's a wonder I can even figure out how to turn the damn computer on! Well, anyway. I'm still trying to figure out how to get pictures of my screen image. I've been told to push the "PrtSc" button, and a copy should go ... somewhere? I can't find where the hell these pictures have gone! Have they even gone anywhere? What am I doing?! Frustrating!

    Thank you.

They go into your Star Trek online pictures folder. It depends upon which operating system you have, though. In Windows 98/ME/XP, it's likely C:\Program Files\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\Screenshots. In Windows Vista/7, it will likely be found in C:\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\Screenshots. It depends upon where you installed the game.

Use the file search feature of your OS to search for "screenshots". That should find you all the screenshots folders for all your games.

I just play it via Steam. So much easier, and it has the built in screenshot manager.
