Sure, but I thought KingDaniel's point was the darkness in theme of Season 3, so I wasn't sure how Riker figured in that.

    Trekker Class of 1972.

    Warser Class of 1977.

I've liked both. Except the idiotic live action prequels.

Tangent: LucasFilm has been bought by Disney. So, the complaint must be changed to: "JJ Abrams is turning Star Trek into Disney! Whaaaaaaaaaa!"

Anyway, focus on the characters and action. I don't have a problem with it.

Question: Is "popcorn movie" derogatory? I like action movies, as long as they have great characters. Ex. Underworld.

Why must every endeavor be like the Lord of the Rings prose novel? The characters, setting and plot get buried under description and drama. A balance must be made.

They do serve wine at my local cinema, and you can bring in crackers.

I recently found an article on trek web where JJ Abrams stated that star trek wrath of kahn was his favorite star trek movie and he loved it when he watched it. So that means he has watched star trek movies befoure.
