‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

House of Dark Shadows premiered in 1970 while the soap was still on the air. Night of Dark Shadows premiered in August 1971, a few months after the series was cancelled.

 

I think this approach makes sense. So will we be getting the next team up movie after JL.
I wonder if they'll use just Superman for all of the team up movies, or if they'll change it up. I'd rather see them do something like Batman/Flash, Wonder Woman/Green Lantern, Green Lantern/Martian Manhunter, ect., rather than just Superman/Flash, Superman/Wonder Woman, ect.

 

It doesn't need to be just pairing. A lot of great comic stories have groups of characters. There could be a Rann/Thanagar war movie with the Green Lantern Corps for example. Or a Themyscira based story with a Birds of Prey style cast. Maybe a young justice movie?

 

I imagine they'd have different pairings so the filming will overlap and they can just roll out the films one after the other.

 

Or they could just make really good Justice League movies where the focus could be on a central character but everyone will be there too. We don't need countless origin stories.

I mean JL 1 would feature Superman, JL 2 Batman, JL 3 Wonder Woman, JL 4 The Flash...etc.

Sorry, probably makes no sense. LOL.

ETA: JL movies with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern as the focus but other JL members involved and they could do side movies as solo or team-ups in between. Too much for WB to consider. Ha!

 

Did the last Terminator film come out while Chronicles was airing? Must have been close.

The way those movies played fast and loose with the TV continuity would probably drive the message boards mad if they did something like that today.

 

It was in production while the show was on the air and was released about a month after the show's final episode aired.

 

Tom Hiddleston and Emily Blunt rumored for BvS. Could Loki also be the Joker?

Hiddleston would be a fantastic Joker. I guess he doesn't mind playing comic book villains.

 

I doubt there's any truth in the rumor.

Pictures leaked of a Superman Statue. I guess Superman DID rebuild Metropolis after the invasion of General Zod.

 

But I thought people hated and distrusted Superman in this version

 

Maybe they forgot that Superman was the reason the Kryptonians came to earth in the first place?

 

People have short attention spans, they were no doubt distracted by a crazed horse owner bullying wheelchair bound children.

 

I really hope that ugly pebbly texture is only for the statue, and not a new feature of the costume.

 

Maybe they haven't seen the movie?

 

Can't really blame Superman for that, it was the drone ship that sent out the signal that drew them to earth.

 

They should put the statue in the middle of the crater where most of Metropolis use to be.
