There have been to actors playing the borg queen, the 1st one appeared in dark frontier played by susanna Thomson and the 2nd one played by alice krige in endgame. Are both queens meant to be the same borg queen or different queens with the same knowledge and information about voyager and janeway and the federation?.

Technically Alice Krige is the first one as she appeared in First Contact the movie first. Susanna Thompson appeared in Dark frontier and Unimatrix Zero. Krige was brought back for Endgame.

So yeah, they're meant to be the same character pretty much. Guess you could argue there are variations since the Borg Queen "dies" frequently after all. Thompson's version seems more.... insane and pettily vindictive while Kridge is more darkly aloof.

That's a metaphorical question. The Borg Queen is less of a particular body than a manifestation of the collective conscious. So no matter what she looks like, she's the same personality, therefore the same person.

I first saw Alice in 1981's Ghost Story. I wish I could say I remember that because of her acting, but I think she might have had a nude scene in it.

Was her spine dangling from her torso provocatively?

I say they were supposed to be one and the same Borg Queen. If not, the second one would have had a torso!

I don't think it was her spine. Though in some of her scenes, the character wasn't breathing.

To me, the character is the same, but the body is different.

The way I see it, the Borg Queen is a mind that exists spread throughout the Collective, just the same way that a person's mind is spread throughout all of their brain cells. The Queen that we see isn't really the Queen, it's really just a puppet controlled by the Queen's mind. So when the Queen died, only the puppet was destroyed, but the mind behind it was just fine. Just needed to get a new puppet.

There's a load of behind the scenes stuff over at Memory Alpha, and as far as Alice was concerned, it was the same character and the same body and we were supposed to suspend disbelief... Not that she was an authority on the matter.

Thompson and Krige didn't look sufficiently different for this to be a real problem. I could barely distinguish them myself. Clearly the producer intent was for the character to be the same, just like the three Ziyal portrayers, or the two Alexander Rozhenko portrayers, or the three people who played Ambassador Odan.

Susanna had to wear Alice's Queen suit from the film (refitted for size difference), so we could interpret that as them both representing the same creature.

She plays a Russian Chef, not a Swedish Chef.

4 more episodes left and I'm done.

They did Janeway as the Queen in the novels. It was oddly appropriate. Janeway's an awesome villain. ;)
