Doesn't This Boy Look Like Susan Boyle?

Here's one of my students here in Taiwan. I think he looks a lot like Susan Boyle the singer from "Britain's Got Talent"

There actually is a strange resemblance there yes.

 

And do these children and their parents know you're filming them to put them up on YouTube for the whole world to see? Doesn't seem like an ethical thing for a teacher to do, especially when one could argue you're ridiculing them, however mildly.

He does look a little like her, yes.

 

I think he's a cute little boy and shouldn't be compared to Susan Boyle in any way, shape, or form. That IS unethical and could come back to bite you in the ass if you're not careful!

Yeah, it's pretty unethical and a little creepy to be putting up a video of one of your students without permission. Especially one that's a little ridiculing like this...

Yep. And for a change, it's a teacher taking pictures with their students fully clothed. I mean seriously, that's pretty rare!

Then again, I don't think Susan Boyle is ugly. I see all this as harmless, anyway.
