The Thaw has the feeling to me of an X-Files wannabe episode that is very badly executed. I gave it a second chance a few years ago and couldn't finish watching it. If you had said Threshold or Sacred Ground, Mortal Coil, I'd have had to put you on ignore. RAMA
What's wrong with Mortal Coil? I thought it was at least competently executed. Not in my favorites, but still not in my least favorites.
