This was from a few years back, when DWM did a poll to find the favourtie episode.

    1.>Caves of Androzani
    2.>Blink
    3.>Gensis of the Daleks

As for my own hard to say, I'll have to think abut it some more.

Just three? That's a extremely hard, having seen every single story (or the reconstruction of)...

    1. The Talons of Weng-Chiang
    2. The War Games
    3. The Doctor's Wife

It's interesting to note that's also the order of my three favorite Doctors...

It is very difficult to come up with my top three, since there are so many enjoyable stories spanning the 11 Doctors' episodes.

    1) Inferno
    2) Daemons
    3) Invasion

Not sure on my full list, need to really do a rewatch as I haven't seen most of the episodes since they originally aired.

I have a real soft spot for Gridlock, I'm pretty confident with that one
For classic, oh boy, maybe Remeberance of the Daleks? I wish I was more familiar with old Who
For #3, quite possibly one of the Moffat's stories under RTD, I have a soft spot for End of the World as well even if objectively it's probably not one of the best

Objectively schmectively. End Of The World is great.

OldWho: City Of Death. Insane but highly erudite. Baker at his level best. He and Ward have great chemistry in this serial.

RTD era: Blink, with an honourable mention for the apocalyptic The Parting Of The Ways.

Moffat era: Vincent And The Doctor if A Christmas Carol or The Girl Who Waited don't nudge it out of the way.

In no particular order (except chronology):

    Tomb of the Cybermen

    Genesis of the Daleks

Alot of people are saying tomb of the cybermen is in their top 3 including me, a real nice clasic story, glad alot of people like that one. I'm really supprised that some of you have put "blink, "the doctors wife" and "vincent and the doctor" in your top three. Personaly, I hate the doctors wife, it seemed just plain bad, but I'm learning to deal with the fact that people like that episode, even though I hate it to bits. Vincent and the doctor, I admit it was a good episode, but personaly, I'm not keen on it at all. Don't like it. And Blink? Not sure how that can be anyones favourate. Fine, a nice horror, but the doctor is hardly in it.

What, only one Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker is included? I'm shocked!

There wasn't space to name every Pertwee serial. :D

Tomb and Genesis are simply too brilliant to omit from any such list, IMO. And I've always said that while Baker is not among my favourite Doctors, a number of my favourite serials are from his era. As irritating as he became toward the end of his tenure, there was a lot of gold near the beginning.

But ask me tomorrow and I may switch to:

    The Aztecs
    Smith and Jones
    Vincent and the Doctor

    Or maybe to:

    The Invasion
    Talons of Wei-Chiang
    Dalek

Really, I don't know. Stop harassing me! I just love Doctor Who, alright?! :scream:
