Finally you can date Voyager, have sex with it, and the police won't come and arrest you !!! Happy birthday Voyager.
I remember the cuts to and from commercial breaks playing little clips of the episode with the title overlayed, spoiling stuff that was yet to come. That was here in the UK on Sky 1. IDK how long that was after the US premiere.
Isn't the age of consent in some states, like Hawaii, 14? Happy birthday Voyager. I remember watching the special hosted by Picardo to introduce the series and then the series premiere that Monday. I still think it's the best series premiere of all of them.
Yep, watched it from beginning to end. Taped it, then bought the DVD's too. Happy Birthday, Voyager!!
Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Voyager! Happy Birthday to you! I watched "Caretaker" on 8th January 1997 on a borrowed VHS tape. It went on air where I live in March but then I had already watched the whole Season 1 (including Projections, Elogium, Twisted and The 37's). Borrowing the "Caretaker" VHS tape was also because of some strange coincident. A short time before that, I had taped a DS9 episode, "Move Along Home" from TV because I wasn't at home that evening. But when I was going to watch it, there had been some technical problems at the TV station which aired it so just when Sisko and the others find themselves in that maze, the screen went gray and stayed that way during the whole episode. For some reason, I decided to visit a video store where it was possible to rent VHS tapes for a sum of money to see if they had the episode. They didn't but they had the whole season 1 of Voyager. So I decided to watch "Caretaker" instead. And I was hooked!
Listened to it on my snowy TV, saw it the next night after someone lent me the VHS tape. Loved it and never regretted it!
I watched it via borrowed VHS tapes from the local video shop, must have started when season 6 was on as I remember the excitement of the series finale appearing as an over night rental. Put my name down to reserve that one. I don't think it was on tv here at the time, or at least not on free tv.
