This is the only place on the internet that still has them that I've found.

I don't need to buy this, since I have all of ADV's original releases. But it's somehow comforting to know that one of my favorite series will be available again for new fans to purchase.

Also, I've never had any problems with my double sided discs, though I don't have that many. Maybe I've just gotten lucky.

    This is great news.

I've never bought Farscape on DVD--even though I loved it--because the original release was done so half-assed. It'll be great to just buy the entire series in one fell swoop.

    Thanks for the heads up.

If it's the same Friends set I have, the 10 season sets in a nice box with the clear plastic door, then that's a fine way to do it.
Like I said, the SG1 set with all the discs in this accordion style thing, is a major pain.

No, that's the limited edition version. I have the later one.

^The SG-1 complete set was an Amazon "deal of the day" a few days ago. I checked out the reviews and was horrified by the number of complaints of damaged discs & bad packaging. Very glad I dodged that bullet. I can wait for SG-1.

I have the old big box sets of Farscape, so I don't need them, but I know a LOT of people didn't get them when they were available, either the originals or the Starbursts, so I'm really glad for your sakes that they're being released again.

Next they need to do Andromeda. I just want the first couple seasons, but try finding them now. :(

My friend just downloaded all 4 seasons and the PK wars and burned them onto a bunch of DVD-R's for me...but if there's a significant amount of supplemental material on these discs and the price is reasonable, I'll definitely pick them up.

Sakrysta, send me a PM - I have the first two seasons of Andromeda on dvd that I bought early on and they're duplicates for me as I bought the mega-series-set later on.

I am really curious about the price. My brother has the series, but he wouldn't let me watch it and I would love to get the DVD sets for my own. However, I'm not one of those who would spend like $500 on a TV show (Except for Star Trek, since I really wanted the collections) so that's going to be the deciding factor. Would really love to get these sets though.

Not really, no. Not really want to get into the specifics of why either but let's just say it's a "civil" relationship.

In that case, you should just steal them.

You can still buy used dvds @ places like amazon, B&N, & half.com.

    I said out, dammit!
Now if I could just buy the boxes for the new sets, and stick all the DVDs I already have into them, I could clear 2 feet of shelf down to a few inches!

This is excellent news! Now here's hoping the release will be quality and affordable, if they overcharge then it becomes moot.
