Total overal length is 1,888 feet or a little over a third of a mile (575.6 meters or over half a kilometer for you metric folks). The Sovereign class, for comparison, is 2,246 feet (685 meters), so the Grandeur is not outrageously huge.

I skimmed (mostly the pictures) this thread from start to finish and all I can stammer out is:

    Beautiful.

I like how the main impulse exhaust mimics the nose of the Camaro!:)

So anyway, this may have been covered already, but is this USS Grandeur gonna have windows on it?

I'm no expert, but I assume it'll have the latest version of LCARS on it.

Yes it will, Vektor has not done this yet on the high res model and I assume it will be toward the end before he adds them, but he will give you a better answer I am sure when he responds to these questions.

If you are referring to the LCARS screens on the bridge and other places, yes they will.
If you go to the Grandeur website and look under the project button then under interiors you will see various rooms and things that have consoles and see the LCARS work that has been done.

All Interior LCARS work is done by our Chief Engineer and he does an excellent job at it.

It was just a pun, but it's good to know I was right nonetheless. :techman:

You could have that as a sensor platform, and put a saucer deflector in the cut out at the front.

By the way, those grills are modeled, not bump mapped.

This makes the 1701-E look even more stupid than it already looks. :techman:

I like the various colors you have on the saucer... a nice homage to the Ambassador-Class.
