This conversation makes me think of Tranformers, which has a whole set of official timeline names: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Universal_stream The Shatnerverse is clearly in the Prime continuity family, so its designation would be something like Prime 964.0 Zeta. (I guess the TV shows would be Prime 669.8 Delta, and the modern novelverse Prime 015.0 Zeta.)
Now if Kirk is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Kirk has been raised. And if Kirk has not been raised, then our posting is in vain and your fandom is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting Shatner, because we testified about Shatner that he raised Kirk, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Kirk has been raised.
Yet they have an actual sense of humor! The TF wiki is just fun to read in a way that the stultifying Doctor Who wiki is (bizarrely) not.
Assuming he does not deserve a Universe named after him, but perhaps worthy of a planet, how about "Shat Prime"...???
