Welcome. As long as ou don't have his holodeck addiction (which would leave you frustrated since they won't be invented for quite some time) you'll be fine.
Permission to get on board? I get on board anyway. I´m from Germany and currently excited, because the VOY novels are published in german. I read them in english anyway. I had my first encounter with Voyager, when I visited my relatives in California in 1995. VOY was on TV. I only knew TOS and TNG before.
Remember, Vorta can enjoy only Kava Nuts and Rippleberries! But I´ve brought a pot of coffee with me!
Hi All, I'm new here and wanted to say hello. I love Voyager and look forward to being a member here.
Hey all, I'm new here; I used to post on star trek's website, until they shut that down... hurumph. Star Trek is the best thing that happened to television, and Voyager is my favorite. Look forward to posting more!
Yo! I'm not exactly a "new" fan, as I've been a die-hard "Voyager" fan since at least 2001, when I was in middle school. But I'm new to this forum. For some reason, I never thought to join a "Star Trek" forum before; I've been a forum-whore on DeviantArt for years now, and only recently thought to venture into other forums for specific topics I'm interested in. Anyway, excited to meet other "Star Trek" fans, and talk about all things "Trek," especially "Voyager!" "Voyager" is my all-time favorite TV series. But I am not above making fun of it, as you can probably tell from my username.
"Voyager" got far better as the show went on. It took a while for the show to find its own voice. The early seasons seemed to repeat a lot of what TOS and TNG did, but once Seven and the Borg entered, "Voyager" began to develop its own storyline. Plus, a lot of other characters became less cliched, and more unique, as the writers figured out different things they could do with them.
