My Texans are now officially the worst team in the league. :(

Don't worry, Antonio Smith says it's not that you suck, it's that the Patriots cheated:

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...n-texans-very-suspicious-new-england-patriots

I guess overcoming vanilla schemes is cheating, now? Even if it was brand new and a crazy scheme, he knows that once you show it, the other team is allowed to respond/adjust, no? Not sure what HIS team does during halftime, but pretty sure the Patriots attempt to make those adjustments at halftime when things aren't working... Then again, he's 2-10 this season, so maybe they just eat orange slices and take a break.

Someone should get fired for that down marker mistake last night. Not that it cost Washington the game, but because it's inexcusable.

Yep, and the excuse for why they didn't do anything is even worse...

I'm still flabbergasted over Chicago's decision to attempt a 47-yard field goal on 2nd down.

Antonio Smith is a jerk for overreacting to the media like that. The Pats beat us because they made good adjustments for the 2nd half, the Texans didn't on their defense. The Texans offense put on a good show the 2nd half, the defense didn't so we lost. It's as simple as Brady and the Pats doing what they do best.

Most of the Houston fans can see Smith was just being a sore loser. I can't wait for Kubiak to be fired.

The Saints and Seahawks are so ridiculously good when playing at home but on the road they can look down right pedestrian.

Watching the Hawks tonight, they look like the team representing the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Defense didn't miss a beat without their starting corners either. Scary.

That was a freaking awesome game! And apparently the fans caused earthquakes and we took back the noise title!

That's the point: Watch them when they're on the road. Of course, since they've all but locked up the #1 seed, they won't need to leave home in the playoffs.

Well, I'm going to watch them quite a bit this week as they are playing the Niners. Still, to have that home field advantage throughout the entire postseason, who can beat them? I thought NO had the best chance but they laid an egg. I don't think the Niners can, and other than that, the competition is pretty light, and that includes the Panthers.

I don't know... the Panthers, though they lost, did manage to hold the Seahawks to 12 points.

Tomlin gets a $100,00 fine, plus there's still a possibility the Steelers could lose draft picks.

What a league. Players like Suh and (especially) Merriweather keep getting let back on the field, but Tomlin takes one little step on the field during that play and the team could lose draft picks?

Ridiculous. A fine I could understand.

Did Suh or Merriweather interfere with an active play like Tomlin did?

Are you all excited for the Thursday night Houston-Jacksonville game? This could be the most important game in Teddy Bridgewater's career.

Merriweather said he was going after knees, even after his suspension was reduced.

I'm just saying there seems to be a huge imbalance to punishment in the NFL.

Is interfering with a play really worse than consistent, intentional dirty play and illegal hits?
