Gosh, I didn't know Aneta Corsaut was on Star Trek! But pictures don't lie, eh?

Well, I guess if Gomer Pyle could be a US Marine, Helen Crump could be a Starfleet yeoman, eh?

This is not supported by IMDB (or anything else I can find). Unless you can give us the episode & scene, it looks like pictures do lie (which is consistent with what we already knew).

That's not a screencap from any Star Trek episode that was ever made.

He's being silly and not serious. I see this over on AllSciFi all the time. And that b.g. is the Defiant from "In a Mirror Darkly".

Its not even the "real" bridge.

Don Knotts in a red shirt would have been funnier.

Glad to have the lovely Miss Ellie in the Star Trek universe. But horrible Miss Crump must STAY AWAY.

Actually, besides appearing on the same backlots, she has 2-degrees of separation from Star Trek. In 1961, she appeared in an episode of Harrigan and Son, which starred Trek Guest Roger Perry.

^^ Wow. That could describe virtually every thread on this site.
And quite possibly every other scifi/scifantasy forum.

:guffaw: Ha ha! Yeah, good point. I guess there is many ways to add up to Awkward, Meaningless Discourse.

Thanks, Rob. All of a sudden I feel like I've wasted my day. :)

She was so strict, he ran away from home, changed his name, and was adopted by a family in Milwaukee. Their older son went missing a year later.

Her lack of sympathy reminded me of most of my elementary school teachers. All the male teachers had left and the few remaining nice teachers were eliminated PARALLAX VIEW-style.

Harrigan and Son, hell, she and Aunt Bee had lunch with him right in the Mayberry Diner:

Where Miss Crump also met with Keith Andes from "The Apple."
