    Yeah and Voyager showed a sonic shower and Enterprise showed a water shower. ST Enterprise came the closet to by mentioning where the "poop" goes when a Starfleet officer takes a dump. Its recycled into clothes,boots etc. via the replicators.

    I think all we saw in TNG were the drawers of standing water.

    The setting of the movie may be involved as well. Is this movie set during or after Kirks 5 year mission? If after, maybe we could see a more military-like uniform as seen in the TOS Trek movies Wrath of Khan-forward.

    No, we also saw Troi's bathtub in one episode ("Genesis"). We also see either hers or Riker's in "Insurrection".

    Bathtubs also appeared in both DS9 and Voyager.
