I don't think he necessarily destroyed all of his suits, just those ones that he felt he didn't need anymore.

Well, that wouldn't be a clean slate. He can always build more suits.

The first movie established that Jarvis can build a suit in a few hours. Destroying all of the suits isn't that big of a deal.

The way I understood it, Tony Stark just kind of lost it in his post-Avengers trauma/panic. He went for quantity, not quality, which is why all of those army suits and his Mark 42 didn't last that long, the latter falling apart every time it hit something.

For Avengers 2, I kind of expect an ultimate Iron Man suit.

Isn't Don Cheadle more expensive than Terrence Howard by default?

Actually, I heard the reason they changed actors is because Cheadle would take less money. I also consider him a better actor so I remembered applauding the move back when it was initially announced, but I always heard that money was the main factor.

Terrance Howard has altered his story a time or two. One site I was at examined the changes he's made over the years.

I actually liked him in the role. For continuity sake wish he'd stayed but from what I can discern is he, his agent also perhaps, bear some responsibility for what happened. Marvel has a history of going cheap so I don't see them as blameless but Howard was not the selling focus of the film. Legally, the 'i's and 't's were such that it appears how things were handled were legit, just not to Howard and his agents liking cause it structured his pay downward.

Downward is what they got Don Cheadle for and rest is history, even if Howard would like to keep editing it in a more negative way every time asked.

So I saw an MCU Iron Man spinoff movie a few days ago... it was called Now You See Me.

Granted, it took some post-flick reflection to realize what it really was, but the start-to-finish glut of Stark Industries-style holograms was the key clue. So, here's the rub: post-Avengers but pre-IM3, in an effort to alleviate his PTSD, Tony takes a rather large hit of some questionable brown acid, and this movie is his ensuing trip. Which explains not just the nonstop holograms, but also why his new friend Bruce Banner is there, again playing a part in which he's more than he at first appears.

Serving as an epilogue to Iron Man 3, the Marvel One-Shot, All Hail the King fleshes out the story of Ben Kingsley's Trevor Slattery, who has finally found the fame the always craved, while being interviewed in prison.

Written and directed by IM3 scribe Drew Pearce, AHtK will also address the fact that there is a "real" Ten Rings organization in the MCU and include a reportedly funny gag involving a failed pilot from the 80s that was Trevor's only previous claim to fame.

"All Hail the King" will be included as an extra on the Thor: The Dark World Blu-Ray.

    Seagate Prison?

Which character's backstory do I know that prison from?

I'm sure we could find stories where Seagate is mentioned but I don't recall a standout one like say The Raft breakout that started the early '00s New Avengers book.

Why in the world didn't they put that on the Iron Man 3 blu-ray instead?

With one exception, none of the One-Shots have dealt directly with the movie they were released with. Probably a cross-promotional thing.

I know it's way out but due to this nature of the Marvel Shorts seemingly being connected to the prior film I'm hoping for a Sif Short(would take Warriors 3 also) on the CapWinter Soldier Blu Ray!
