    Hmmm tough choice.

Nirvana, definitely. Really don't get what the fuss is about there, they're utterly shocking.
Franz Ferdinand, for starting an annoying trend of nu-boyband all-sound-the-same-indie-crap in British music. Or if it wasn't them who started it, whoever did.
Aerosmith - Utterly, utterly bad, they have never been good. And without them perhaps Walk This Way wouldn't be on every radio station.
Limp Bizkit, for wrecking my early teens by being, at the time, 'cool'. And for Behind Blue Eyes The Shit Version.
Nine Inch Nails - I love Hurt, so it really pains me to say this. But everything else they've produced has made me cringe. I'd be prepared to sacrifice Hurt (or hope Johnny Cash would come up with it by himself  ) to lose the rest of their catalogue.

Iron Maiden-I grew up in the 70s-80s and this band was sooooooo overrated-can't stand their music, pretentious crap

Panic At the Disco-not even pretentious, just crap, bad spoken word poetry set to music

Morrissey-'nuff said, here! The granddad of emo, which is a self-pitying joke of a style

Brittany "Trailer Trash" Spears-if her life wasn't so screwed up we could just forget her, but she insists on staying in the news long after her shelf life has passed...

The entire deathmetal genre-incoherent, repetitious screaming is not music no matter how many electric basses you add or how fast you play them

The Beatles, the sound of them just grates on my ears,
    Oasis, see above,
Girls Aloud, I've never wanted to slap so many fellow females,
Daniel O'Donnel, because he is the creepiest man in the world,
Babyshambles, because that Pete thing should have been put away long ago.

Well, since I can't list Creed, Nickelback, the boy bands, and the girl trash...

Nirvana. The single most overrated pile of trash ever.

I can't think of anyone else, which just means I just ignored their drivel.

I don't even know who you are anymore. :p:lol:

I can't be limited to just bands, individual artists must be included. I'm fairly easy on music, like I am with movies and TV. I'll go with:

    1. Elvis Costello and whatever his band was. The Attractions, maybe? Dreadful stuff.

    2. Elvis Presley. Ugh. Hmmmm, maybe I don't like the name.

    3. Dave Matthews Band.

    4. Hootie and the Blowfish. They were so popular for a while and I never could stand them.

    5. John Mayer. WTF is up with him? I think he's terrible and people seem to just LOVE him. Yuck.

I'm just going to pretend I didn't see anybody list The Beatles, The Eagles, Nirvana, The Who and Pink Floyd. :shifty:

Marc Cohn-for some reason, I absolutely hate that "Walking in Memphis" song.
If this is indeed the genesis of rap, I'd have to agree with this:

Well since I can't vote for boy bands, here goes:

    Huey Lewis and the News
    Spice Girls
    Vanilla Ice
    Michael Bolton
Foghat - Only because I hate their name

Dave Matthews Band (Nice guys, good weed, shit music)
New Kids on the Block (I know, but I really, really hated them.)

Can't think of any more, I don't pay enough attention to music I hate to remember names. These were impossible to avoid...

For the love of Benji, Nickelback, I don't care if it's the obvious choice! :)
    Madonna
Puff Diddy, or whatever the hell he wants to call himself, in fact the entire 'bling r&b/rap' genre, fuck it pisses me off more than just about anything! Possibly more than Nickelback!
That dude with the dreadlocks who sang that "Mr Jones" song in the 90s.
    Metallica, overrated, boring crap.
Most any boy band with the exception of Take That!

Pfft ... silly Stoney ... the old Green day is much better than the new stuff

This song reminds me of that old vs new debate

There are bands I hate. Not sure erasing will do anything.

Blech, my son's new favorite. Besides every song sounding the same being screamed at the top of the guy's lungs, the one with "DIE -- BANANAS" really gets on my nerves. :scream:

Rush - I have a pretty open mind when it comes to music and I could never for the life get into their music. Honest to god I sat down and listened to their stuff and I hated it.

Oasis - Fucking arrogant pricks think they're the second coming of the Beatles plus the Gallagher brothers' completely unprofessional behavior during the 90's completely turned me off. *blegh*

Rolling Stones - Please retire for real, really. The last album that you released that was any good came out a decade before I was born.

Hootie and the Blowfish - This is shit. In the dictionary below that word is a picture of this band. I only wanna be away from you.

Limp Bizkit - Rap rock ugh. *vomit*

I must say I'm surprised by some of the choices. Some of them are my favorite bands ever. Actually seeing The Clash up there made me wince, it was that shocking but I'll still respect all of you in the morning. ;)
