I was trying to mix the ENT era Vulcan ships with the TOS Starfleet look as if the science vessel was a joint venture. Just to clarify, those are primarily used as probe launchers, not torpedo tubes. I plan on playing around with the design some more before making a 3D model of it. Comments and criticisms are always welcome.

Especially in a joint venture, the Vulcans would likely accede to a Starfleet requirement of a bridge module that can easily be swapped out. All it needs to be is a raised area somewhere of appropriate size.

I tried putting it between the pylons on top of the primary hull. It looked kind of odd but it might translate better on a 3D model then my attempt to do it in 2D

This is a brilliant concept mate!
If you'd like I did a TMP Vulcan ship a long while ago, I could post it if you think it would help at all.

And there's that swappable bridge module. No one ever said it had to be near the front.

Yep! :D also I've always disliked the fan ideas that include the Annular Warp Ring and Nacelles, you either have one or the other. But everyone has their own ideas, and that is merely my opinion. :)

Those tubes on Klondike's ship look more to be the impulse engines. The back of his ship is a shuttle bay.

I'm sure they're intended as warp nacelles. They have the Buzzard collectors at the front.

I took off the nacelles but left the Bussard Collectors, I also added a bridge. Thanks for the advice and comments.

Another quick update: Deflector added and Bridge modified. Next is the neck, launcher, and pylons before finally working on the main hull.

Take off the ring, and it looks like a hand phaser.

UPDATE: I finished the "Nacelle" pylons, the neck, probe launcher, and the impulse engines. I also updated the back of the Ring. Now I'm moving on to the primary hull.

The main structure is done, I'll start the detail work and texturing later.
