Not sure if this was posted but came across this recently, some might remember this guy for his flat he decorated into a trek like pad http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tony-alleyne-star-trek-fan-2256669 What annoyed me was how the media made so much reference to his trek fascination rather than concentrate on the individual and his sick crimes
Oh good, more positive PR for Trek fans... But seriously, I hope the media covering this will divorce the guy's apparently intense interest in all things Trek with his apparent criminal issues.
Well, I hope someone gets his apartment after he is sent away. It was good work. But if he had been a NASCAR fan--it would have been par for the course. Paul Finebaum, a radio personality, once lamented about them being ill-tempered, beer-swilling, evil smelling, shirtless drunks...and their husbands.
Only proves that sick people can come from all types of social circles. Awesome apartment, despicable human being. Not sure about the whole prison culture thing, but I hope he does the hardest time possible.
He had an appearance in Trekkies 2. Mostly, though, he's the guy whose claim to fame was getting his name in the papers every year for putting his flat on the market again (but never actually selling it.) Guess he'll have another thing for them to talk about now. Heh... Full Speed Ahead for 'Trekkies 2'
