Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Nice. I almost used Chaplin for this one, too.
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday, 1953
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Basil Rathbone as Capt. Levasseur in 'Captain Blood'. It was this or Guy of Gisborn, but I love pirates. I suppose Errol Flynn will kill him here. too.
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Great entries! *Grumble* I hate competition.
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Henry Fonda, The Ox-Bow Incident, 1943
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Danny Kaye in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I wanted a pic from On the Riviera, but I couldn't find a good one online, and I don't have time to make my own screen grab tonight. I've been in love with Danny Kaye since the first time I saw one of his movies.
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc Yeah, he's a must. Although I was tempted to go with this combo: Heinz Rühmann and Gert Fröbe from "Es geschah am hellichten Tag" ("It happened in broad Daylight", 1958). Two of the greatest German actors of all time, but I'm afraid they wouldn't have gotten many votes (and if any, most likely because people remember Fröbe as Auric Goldfinger, and that film was after 1960).
Re: ENTER TV & Media Avatar Contest Classic Gentlemen of the Silver Sc last call. voting thread will go up later tonight.
