From back in the day when comedians used to put out comedy albums ... on vinyl. ;) We used to play them over and over and over until every bit, routine and silly nonsequitur was burned into our brains, indelibly. That was one of them.. And, to this day I will sometimes, for no reason, burst out with "Grandpaaaaaaaaa bought a rubber."

Sorry, ya had to be there. ;)

I think the omelet bit was on "Let's Get Small". I wonder if you can still get that somewhere as an MP3 ....

    Exactly!!! ;)

Oh yeah, and I did make the beef stew for dinner Saturday night. With buttermilk biscuits. Yum.

Last night was Orange-baisted pork chop with mashed potatos. Not bad, I wish I had more appetite. Tonight was another TV dinner.

There's nothin' like a nice beef stew on a cold winter night.

Last night we were in the mood for more "comfort food", and I made a childhood favorite: tuna noodle casserole. :alienblush: People make fun of me for still liking it, but I can't help myself. I've "fancied it up" from my mom's original recipe over the years, but at base, it's still just tuna noodle casserole. :p

Pork chop and chicken noodles, with an M&M brownie later on.

The highlight was earlier when I made homemade black bean hummus.

Thank you! :) I guess I still haven't fully recovered from the food poisoning.

Usually though, fish and chips rock!

Last night, we had a particularly peppery brisket, cornbread stuffing and greenbeans. Very Texan of us.
