Gary7, I took this in Regent's Park, London, UK. You're in New York? Just a few days before that, when I went there, not not enough leaves had fallen, and directly the day after I took this, it rained quite heavily for some time, so it was a very small window of opportunity to get those crisp fresh leaves, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. Nature is awesome when it does stuff like that!
Poor Lily. What a beautiful dog she was. I just finished a necklace for my mom: And another for my sister: She's going to Paris over Christmas break, lucky! And finally, I made an ornament out of something I stitched years ago but forgot about:
We certainly enjoyed the convention and our time with the actors. My wife was very excited here, but was absolutely floored when we got our picture taken with George Takei. That's the one she'll remember most.
FANTASTIC autumn pics, An Officer! I definitely have to schedule a London trip in November. I can offer some winter pics, taken a couple of hours ago.
Sorry for your loss. You just summed up my relationship with my dog, right down to the divorce part. I thought it was a perfectly find marriage until she one day out of the blue said she was leaving. I later found out she had something lined up. We had two dogs. She kept the one that gravitated towards her, and vice versa. I just wanted the damned thing over as quickly and painlessly as possible, so I didn't fight it.
Friends had a Christmas party last night. I decided to go as a Hipster Elf. Also, this is the 86th day of my Beard.
Wow, it's been so long! I was starting to think I lost my sexiness. Not since Sept 22nd. It's against the rules of the Equinox Beard!
That's definitely winter, alright! Incredible how white everything is in that last shot! Where were these taken? And thanks for the kind words!
Did some walking in downtown Fredericksburg, VA, tonight, and saw a great Christmas window display: This shop does cool displays every Christmas season, but they've outdone themselves this year! I love the details: Yep, the elves even have a "Employees must wash hands" sign!
^That's pretty neat! The pics were taken in my back yard, which is located in North-Eastern Romania, in a city called Iasi. We usually get heavy winters like that. I gave up on trying to get my car out of the snow this morning and just walked to work.
Gingerbread Girl, that window display is great. Love love LOVE the hand-washing sign. I used to have to look for those when I was inspecting jails/prisons.
