That would be the old standard-def Best Buy features though, right? All the Blu-ray seasons have had them so far, as far as I was aware.

Yep, they've already interviewed him. I think one of the producers posted a picture during the interview at one point.

No. Not the S3 Best Buy Blu-ray VAM. The post refers to the Best Buy VAM originally on the DVDs.

Nice price! Especially when you remember what the DVD sets cost when they first came out.

And I'll be happily and without regret skipping Unification. Both parts are on the season set - so no point.

Aren't there extra bonus features on the Unification set?

I was talking about the old DVD special features that were Best Buy exclusive. When I originally bought the set, I think I only got Season 6 from Best Buy, so you had the Data biography. I haven't seen any of the others.

Yes, exclusive commentary and documentary features.

With seasons 4 and 5 out now, there's "no point" to owning the BOBW and Redemption sets either, but I totally understand not wanting to buy individual episodes twice.

When I want to cherry-pick TNG episodes to watch, those single releases come in handy.

I read there's also a quick deleted scene on the Unification set.

And it'll only cost $18 American dollars to see it!

Wow, it really shows up how terrible some of the movie transfers are. Look at how much more naturalistic and film-like Unification is compared to ST6.

Ugh. TUC got the worst of the DNR treatments. I don't get why studios do that.

It also originates from a 1080i master. It shows signs of being deinterlaced. Some reviews think they just dusted off the cable TV master, cropped it, removed the added scenes and heavily DNRed it.

I just assumed they used heavy DNR because of it having heavier grain than the other films, due to being shot in 500 speed and processed at Super35. Either way, what a shame. The DNR didn't bother me too much with the other films, but with TUC, it's just rubber city.

Yeah, I wouldn't place too much trust in Blu-ray.com's screencaps. They appear to have too much yellow in them. TrekCore's appear more accurate:

I *thought* they'd done something weird. Yes, Blu-ray.com's screenshots have been post-processed with some weird color timing. :wtf:

The shots I post at TrekCore are totaly unaltered
