Picked up a cheap but funky tweed jacket & a v-neck sweater. Just occasionally, it is still possible to find nice things in a High Street shop.
WOW. Pics of this glorious event? I cut off a lot of my hair this summer. I think I look better with it short.
Coincidentally I just took an electric razor to my head and gave myself a military-style buzzcut. It's still way too hot and much too humid to be walking around with a scalp of shaggy hair.
Virginia right now is far too hot and sticky to be sporting a full head of hair. The less unnecessary sweating I have to do the better.
Not that hot around here - but it's been at least half a year since I shaved my head. Been getting hair in my eyes a lot recently so it was time to do it.
The leftover remnants of Hurricane Isaac have made my area really muggy and uncomfortable for the past several days and I just threw up my hands, grabbed the razor and turned myself into a virtual cueball. I prefer to keep as much of my hair as possible because I've been thinning on top for many years, but there are some summers when a lot of head hair is just insufferable.
I'd prefer to be a skinhead (for comfort only; I can always wear a hat during winter, or a cap those three-four days the sun's out during summer) but the people around me seem to prefer a bit of hair on my head. Early this morning I changed from you can't see my ears to this: Horrible, horrible picture: you can't even see that my stubble is longer than my hair
