Vanguard spin-off Seekers charges ahead with the second of two back-to-back installments this month, following on from last month's Second Nature. Point of Divergence is written by authors Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore, who of course also penned many installments of the original Vanguard saga. Here is a look back at Mr. Ward's own announcement of Seekers back in August of last year, including his memories of the new series' inception. The official street date for Point of Divergence is August 26th.

Will we have a fancy cast list, as David did with Second Nature?

Mostly, right now, I'm curious about

some of the tensions between the crew on Endeavour, hinted towards at the end of Seekers 1. And the new Chief Engineer.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten a cast list for the second book yet.

I can't wait to get this book and find out what happens in part 2 of the Seekers series! Especially with Sagitarius and Endeavors crew versus the Klingons and the Tomol.

I got my book today and over at Trek.fm they have a podcast interview with David Mack discussing the Vanguard and seekers books. It's a great interview and discussion of the Seeker novels.:techman:

Really liked them both, nice to see the Vanguard story continuing [especially knowing where it will lead in the future] and the TOS feel is just right... this is going to be a fun series.

Are we sure Lerax is Edoan, and not Triexian?
